When I was seven and other kids were playing hop-scotch, I was writing my first screenplay. That restless creativity hasn’t stopped since.
I’ve always had a pen in my hand. Writing stories. Scribbling lines. Dreaming up ideas. Thrilled by the way words elicit such emotional impact, and the craft required to conduct it. I started out in journalism, but soon realised reporting didn’t scratch my creative itch. So I made copywriting my home.
I went from writing product descriptions for John Lewis to fronting rebrands at AI startups, leading ABM/GTM content and creative for global clients at MomentumABM, and honing my craft at Accenture Song.
On top of that, I’ve written award-winning screenplays. Dark, absurd comedies that make people laugh at terrible things—which, in most cases, is themselves. Read more about that below.
Elsewhere, I haven’t stood still. I lived in Italy for five years, digital-nomaded for four, and have now found my soul-home in Tokyo. Here, you’ll find me jazz-cafe hopping, notebook-shopping, people-watching, and, above all, overthinking musing about life.
So whether you want to talk marketing, movies or how Japanese toilets work, I’d love to hear from you.
